HGRESA...Striving to Help, Guide, Reach, Extend, and Serve ALL!
HGRESA SUMMER HOURS
The HGRESA building will be open from 8:00 - 5:00 during June and July on Monday through Thursday. As always, please free to email us at any time. We hope you have a restful, peaceful summer. May you continue to throw and fan kindness wherever you go this summer. Safe travels...
ANNUAL NEEDS ASSESSMENT AS REQUIRED BY GRANT MOAs
Stakeholders, thank you for taking the time to complete the open-ended needs assessment and pulse check. This is sent near the end of each Fiscal Year. As we review the responses, we will complete a feedback form and include action steps to address when possible. Sometimes funding may prevent us from addressing each request. If you note "out-of-date" information on our website, please let us know. The website has loads of information, and we want the information to be accurate and up-to-date.
The Heart of Georgia RESA staff members would like to wish ALL stakeholders in the 10 district area a wonderful June!
Thanks to all staff members in the 10 school districts in the Heart of Georgia RESA area. Our school districts have been blessed in many ways. Through the happy and sad times, staff members have been there to help in times of need or to celebrate during happy times. We are sending best wishes to those who are retiring in the 10 district area. Thank you for touching the lives of so many students. Those heart to heart connections will follow your students throughout their lives because they know you genuinely care! May your futures be filled with great health and new adventures. We will miss networking with you. When it's time to renew your certificates, refer to our www.hgresa.org website, and look in the top navigation bar for Retirees. "We just might be able to help you," as one of the lawyer ads states on television.
As FY 23 ends, we wish the graduates from the HGRESA area much success as they venture into the many opportunities waiting for them. We hope that in some way, the HGRESA organization has indirectly or directly impacted their lives positively via professional learning for their leaders, teachers, other staff; job-alike meetings; resources; mentoring; contest participation; annual banquet; certificates, plaques, and/or trophies; etc. HGRESA exists to help stakeholders in Bleckley, Dodge, Dublin City, Laurens County, Montgomery, Pulaski, Telfair, Treutlen, Wheeler, and Wilcox. We hope that "our" graduates will go forth and make a positive impact, and always remember that they are never alone. Life is a team sport and journey, so enjoy it! Go forth and make a difference. Please remember to fan and throw kindness wherever you go.
Dr. Steve J. Smith, Executive Director of HGRESA, can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. He has served as Director since October 1, 2022.

To schedule a fingerprinting appointment, please contact Mr. Horace Austin at 478-353-8693, Extension 2014, or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please remember that a mask is requested before entering the building. Please also sanitize your hands and practice social distancing. You must bring a signed form from the Board of Education office and photo identification.
The HGRESA staff members appreciate the support of the leaders and all other staff from the 10-member districts and from partnering organizations. The HEART network "works" because of the mutual respect of all entities working toward a shared vision of always striving to Help, Guide, Reach, Extend, and Serve All. As we reflect on the past, those who are no longer with us are remembered and cherished. Professional friendships have been established in this HEART network that will last a lifetime. As we look to the future, may we continuously seek to find MORE: Forgiveness, patience, kindness, understanding, empathy, care, helping hands, love, faith, goals, positiveness, and peace.
